How to make a fabric Keychain?

Making fabric keychains is a fun and easy project.  Here are basic guidelines to help you create:

 Materials you need:
- Fabric of your choice
- Keychain hardware
- Scissors
-Sewing machine or needlework
- Fabric glue (optional)

Pace:
 1. Cut a piece of fabric into a rectangle.  Dimensions may vary depending on how big you want your keychain to be, but a common size is about 4 inches x 2 inches.

 2. Fold the fabric in half lengthwise, right sides facing each other.  If your fabric has a pattern, make sure it's on the inside.

 3. Sew along the long side and one short side, leaving one short side open.  If you are using a sewing machine, use straight stitches.  If you sew by hand, use a flat stitch.

 4. Turn the right side of the fabric out from the edge of the opening.  You can use a pencil or chopsticks to help push out corners and edges.

 5. Fold the raw edge of the open end inward and sew.  You can use slip seams to neatly close the opening.

 6. Attach the key ring hardware to the top of the fabric rectangle.  You can do this by threading the fabric through the key ring and sewing it securely in place.  Alternatively, you can use fabric glue to secure the fabric to the key ring.

 7. Once the keychain hardware is attached, your fabric keychain is ready to use!

 You can personalize your fabric keychain by using different fabrics, adding embellishments, or even embroidering designs on the fabric.  Have fun experimenting with different materials and techniques to create a unique keychain that fits your style!
